It took me weeks to get this done. I have made a several mistakes on this but you cannot find them at all. I've hidden them all real good. I've worked hard on this.

I was bored so I drew this while I was dog sitting at my grandmas house. I had a good time in that time.

My thoughts about art so far...

The class in art has been fun but I needed to hurry to catch up with other classmates since I'm way behind. But I am okay for NOW. I am doing okay since I've painted other things that were very odd to make and now I'm drawing a portrait of myself from a country, well, more like my races I'm from. I'm German, Polish, French Canadian and Irish. I don't mind drawing that but all I know is that I can't draw faces well enough. I still do draw and write stories. I love to write and draw because it can tell a story without me telling you all about it. Only you can see the story behind it. I don't open up to other people quickly, just have a slow process of opening up to other people that I barely know. I am trying to let myself to open up and make more friends. I usually don't.

I hope to do better in this class. I love learning new techniques in art. Drawing is the only way to keep my feelings out there and feel better without keeping it to myself. It's a good thing to let it out because the more you keep it in, the more you will become distance from others. Try not to do that.

I had to draw this out before I want to paint like this. I always have to pick something that is so challenging for me to do in art.

This took me like a month to complete this painting. It was difficult to keep the white off the black paint.

Artist Statement

My favorite art material is painting abstract for fun. Because it is showing my feelings. Most of the time, the painting of mine makes it look frustrated, dull, or calm. But mostly dull and calm. It really does show my true colors and feelings.
I would not describe my art work in email. I'd let them see the artwork of mine and make them guess what my artwork means and what it makes them feel towards my artwork. Drawing still influences me. Painting didn't do well to influence me. Oh well. I'm still a bad paint artist. Ha. But I did get better at painting. I have gotten a better control on painting .
I just like to make art because it shows how unique and exotic things. If I am day dreaming, I don't draw it. I keep day dreaming till it is done then I draw it.
The most challenging about being an artist this year was Painting landscapes, water, and waves. I begin my piece of artwork by drawing it out on a piece of paper and draw it again on a bigger paper. Then I'd paint carefully.
I am glad that some of you like my artwork because I didn't like my artwork. It didn't turn out really well most of the time. I am glad. Thank you
