The Nightmare Before Christmas

I made this for my mother for Christmas but it was done after Christmas was over. It was hard to create this. But I'm proud of it.

My wood burning from last year. It was incomplete when school was over. So I finished it over the summer.

It took me weeks to get this done. I have made a several mistakes on this but you cannot find them at all. I've hidden them all real good. I've worked hard on this.

I was bored so I drew this while I was dog sitting at my grandmas house. I had a good time in that time.

My thoughts about art so far...

The class in art has been fun but I needed to hurry to catch up with other classmates since I'm way behind. But I am okay for NOW. I am doing okay since I've painted other things that were very odd to make and now I'm drawing a portrait of myself from a country, well, more like my races I'm from. I'm German, Polish, French Canadian and Irish. I don't mind drawing that but all I know is that I can't draw faces well enough. I still do draw and write stories. I love to write and draw because it can tell a story without me telling you all about it. Only you can see the story behind it. I don't open up to other people quickly, just have a slow process of opening up to other people that I barely know. I am trying to let myself to open up and make more friends. I usually don't.

I hope to do better in this class. I love learning new techniques in art. Drawing is the only way to keep my feelings out there and feel better without keeping it to myself. It's a good thing to let it out because the more you keep it in, the more you will become distance from others. Try not to do that.

I had to draw this out before I want to paint like this. I always have to pick something that is so challenging for me to do in art. 

Part two (painting)
This took me like a month to complete this painting. It was difficult to keep the white off the black paint.

This drawing was incomplete. I still need to work on the shades and volumes.
